so i waz reading the august 15 wt study article, elisha saw fiery chariots, do you?
and it made me think about this forum.
if you remember, syria was hunting god's prophet, elisha.
Some people love to hear the sound of their own voice so much, that they run out of audience. Then they find forums where they can write in and then get feedback.
That old bible doctrine blabbity-blab is like eating yesterday's jello. When it was FRESH it was boring, now it's intolerable.
i openly challenge any annointed ones to use the holy spirit to come find this ms still considered in good standing in my congregation, and remove me for waking up to your bs and cultish ways.
i no longer believe in your doctrine, history, or the claim you are guided by holy spirit.
prove me wrong and come get me!!.
You all making me laugh...LOL!!!
i'm proud to say i'm an apsostate.. .
anyone else up front about it?.
If the WT likes me, there's something wrong. They need to get out of all my face and call me whatever they please! LOL!!!
i'm on it every couple of days and it's usually to see pics of my grandkids or to get the 411 onwhat's going on..
Facebook is nice for me now - I live in Georgia, but all my extended family is elsewhere so we keep in touch with FB. A few years ago when I was in the WT, I had lots of jw "friends" on FB and it was easy for some people who hated me to destroy my reputation by lying about me on FB. So back then it was real bad.
I cut off every jw I knew and blocked them everywhere and every way there is. Now I love adding photos and seeing the cuzzins and keeping up with the West Point grad and his army training, and my mother in California can tune in and "visit" too. It's like a big living room, I just check in to see who is on the sofa!
the jehovah's witnesses came to our door, claiming to hold the secrets of family happiness.
they told me they had the "one true religion," and had come to save my life.
i was a bible student for quite awhile, along with my husband.
If the JW who treated our family so badly will be anywhere around, I would rather be in the ground than see them in "paradise."
cheer me up, please.

Cheer thee, Losingit!
One good thing here where I am, is that my daughter is regaining custody of her daughter. The 14th birthday arrived at last!
Long time ago I had forced my daughter through violent argumentation, to sign custody over to her husband who was a JW. My daughter was disf.
Needless to relate, I have regretted the decision and all of us have, for years now. But my daughter hung in, kept in close contact as she could, supported the school, etc., until finally the star of our lives has reached the age where the judge will grant her preference, to live with the other parent.
The father is disgusted that the child does not want to be in the JW, and told the mother to come get her, and he's not making us wait for the court date which is about 5 weeks away.
They are on the road to get her right now, as I write. The wrong I did to my daughter and precious grandchild, is being overturned today, October 17, 2013. I don't know how to act!!!
here is a weird fact: as i was watching the official wt video about the new headquarters project (can be seen on jw.org), i recognized the building they were tearing down, the front shot of it.
because this building was used exclusively in the 1986 movie, "the manhattan project".
it's kind of a cult-classic favourite movie from my youth that i still watch.
Thank you for posting - very interesting!
